On the road to General Convention Anaheim
Posted by lljunggren under: Uncategorized .
A few days from now thousands of faithful Christians will gather in Anaheim, California, to pray and work together to help bring to fruition God’s dream for this world of ours. This gathering, known as the General Convention of the Episcopal Church, has as its theme ubuntu, which means “I am because you are.” We humans are made for community. Please keep all participants in this large community of General Convention in your prayers. Blessings, Lorraine+

All the colors of the rainbow – all the diversity of the human race – all gathering in General Convention this coming week – with prayers that diversity will speak – a word of inclusion and the grace of God!

My prayer for the GC & Rev. Lorraine:
May God trouble the waters of those who have been complacent.
May God stoke the fires of those who have been impassioned for true inclusion in the Kingdom of The Lord.
May God open the hearts of those who desire to truly listen to the Holy Spirit.
May God give comfort and understanding to all who desire to do His will.
